These Terms & Conditions govern your use of thepassportproject.in and the passport assistance services offered by The Passport Project, a brand of Girish Chaudhary Associates LLP (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

01. Nature of our services

The Passport Project is a private consultancy that provides professional assistance with Indian passport services, including documentation guidance, application support, appointment assistance and process guidance.

We are not affiliated with the Ministry of External Affairs, Passport Seva or any Government body. We do not issue passports or certificates, and we do not represent any government authority.

02. Decisions by the authorities

Passport issuance, approval, ECR/Non-ECR eligibility and other decisions remain subject to the rules and final approval of the Government of India/Passport Authorities. We cannot and do not guarantee:

  • the approval or issuance of any passport, certificate or other document;
  • processing times, delivery dates or police verification outcomes;
  • the availability of appointments, including Tatkal appointments;
  • eligibility for any category, such as Tatkal or ECR deletion.

03. Your responsibilities

  • Provide information that is true, accurate and complete, and documents that are genuine and valid.
  • Review your application details carefully before they are submitted.
  • Attend your Passport Seva Kendra appointment and police verification in person, as required by the authorities.
  • Inform us promptly of any change in your details or circumstances.

You remain responsible for the information and documents you provide. We may decline or stop a service if any information or document appears false, incomplete or misleading.

04. Fees & payments

Our service charges are for our professional assistance and are communicated to you before we begin work. They are separate from government fees.

Government fees are payable separately as per official rates and are governed by the rules of the passport authorities.

05. Cancellations & refunds

  • You may cancel your request before your application is submitted. Service charges are refundable on cancellation before the application is submitted to the Passport Seva portal.
  • Once your application has been submitted, our service charges are non-refundable, whatever the outcome of the application.
  • Government fees are subject to the rules of the passport authorities and are not refundable by us.

06. Appointments

Appointment dates and slots depend on availability on the official passport portal. Rescheduling and cancellation of appointments are subject to the rules and limits set by the passport authorities.

07. Communication

By contacting us or sharing your details, you agree that we may contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your requirement and application.

08. Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • decisions, delays or errors by the passport or any other government authority;
  • downtime or technical issues on government portals;
  • losses arising from incorrect, incomplete or false information or documents provided by you;
  • any indirect or consequential loss, including missed travel or bookings.

In any case, our total liability for a service is limited to the service charges you paid us for that service.

09. Use of this website

The information on this website is for general guidance only and is not legal advice. Passport rules and procedures can change; please verify current requirements with the official passport authorities.

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use its content for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual property

The name “The Passport Project”, logo, design and content of this website belong to Girish Chaudhary Associates LLP and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms, our website or our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date shown at the top.
